popbumper Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 Well, I thought it was hot in Texas until I came back from a week of vacation in Ohio and Pennsylvania last week. The humidity was an ABSLOUTE killer (73%); last Wednesday we were SO miserable as we sat on a porch for a family picnic in the evening. The rest of the days were spent in the water, pretty much all you could do to not keel over. It was a great time, though when we got back last night at 1 AM and it was 92 degrees with 30% humidity, I really was happy to be here. People joke about "dry heat", but it DOES make a difference. oldbuckster Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 Hot and Humid in the East............Summer weather for sure.......So humid they shut down the Thorobred Track, never happen before in 128 years of Racing..............Ain't that something, worried about the Horses...........not bad today ...........beats rain and snow....
