sean5340
Hi All, I am new to Klipsch and the forum. Is there any advantage to bi-amping La Scalas? I have acquired a 1979 pair of La Scalas FREE! from a really good friend. He had never bi-amped and was wondering how much difference it would make. If it's worth it could anybody help on how to do it? The x-overs are Type AA. Thanks in advance.
Guest " "
if you do a site search for bi-amp you will find 29 lenthly discussions about pros and cons. in general, if you have the amps already, and you want to invest in active crossovers, or have active crossovers, overall, the bi-amp sound is more flexable than the passive sound since you can control alot of the xover points, slopes, time/group delay's right on the xover unit. take a look thru the other disccussions and I think you will find them helpful. btw, some folks confuse bi-amp and bi-wire, totally different concepts.
