Dmitry
I have parted out a Brociner corner horn speaker with the help of the prominent board member who wishes to remain anonymous, or an arrow will pierce my bony behind. I need help identifying the manufacturer of this horn, so I can put it up for sale. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Dmitry
I also would like to know the manufacturer and specs of the horn driver. Any info would help. Thanks!
CaptnBob
Brociner used a variety of drivers in his speakers. The most sought after ones used a Klipschorn bottom he bought from PWK combined with a Lowther driver mounted in the top. That's obviously not what you have. I'd suspect he had the horn built for him somewhere. As for the driver, I'm not sure. It looks a bit JBL-esque. I'll look into it a bit and get back to you. Where in Rhode Island are you? I'm still trying to figure out the shipping on the bass cabinet.
Dmitry
Captain, I'm in 02816 zip code. Thanks for looking into the origin of this horn and driver. I want to put them on eBay.
D-MAN
Man, I have no idea, other than to call it a "cast metal bi-radial sectoral horn with a detachable throat adaptor". DM

CaptnBob
If you look up Brociner in the search function above, you'll find a couple of interesting photos. One has a bass horn very similar to yours, but with the Lowther driver facing up. Another has a stripped down cabinet with a radial horn very similar to yours, even down to what appears to be electrician's tape around a couple of the fins. On this one, someone made a rather crude adapter to mount a University SA-HF on it. Still looking to find out more.
mungkiman
horn looks a lot like an Altec 311-90.
mungkiman
could also be an early stephens combo, although i have never seen pictures of a stephens horn quite like this one...
Dmitry
Funny you mention Stephens. This Brociner also had the Stephens Tru-Sonic P52 woofer. I wonder how I should advertise the horn driver and the horn on eBay, since there seemingly are no markings on either... Would you advise selling them together or separately? Daddy Dee
separate, IMO since they are parted out anyway. Someone who wants to score the lot can win them on individual auctions. I think that person would be much less common than someone who would want a single part.
roger1275
That horn looks alot like Altec, I used to have some that looked very similar to that about 40 years ago and they were Altec, don't remember the model #. The one's I had were made by Altec for the Navy but they were almost identical to the ones in the A4's being sold at the time. Don't know if that is any help, maybe you can check with Altec? Good luck.
