jdelrio22
Currently I have the F-3,S-3, and C-3 series speakers and am looking for some advice. I have a Pioneer 1015 receiver that does I think 125 watts per channel. Should I go out and buy an external amplifier for these speakers? oldbuckster
Why do you think you should? That receiver should be able to run them easily, you are looking for 5.1?
jdelrio22
I did forget to add that I did get a 12" sub from Klipsch as well. I guess I was curious about that since I had read that on the Klipsch website but I didn't know if it was really necessary or not.
bismarck
I am a big fan of the 1015 personally. One of the features I like is Pioneers MCACC, although many people around here will say that is a gimmik. You shouldn't need any more power....Why do you ask? Definitely go with the sub-12, very necessary
Capa
I was running some KLF30s with a Pio. 1014 and came across an Adcom 555II..the amp definitely gives the 30s better oomph down low. They sound great with the pioneer, but the adcom is a definite step up.
