Robert Gervais
I am looking for the old Klipsch KT series package. Right now I have Chorus II's, KPS C6 and a pair of KPS S6. I just thought it might be nice to have the old THX set. Anyone have one they want to get rid of?
T2K
I've got a new in box pair of the KT-DS dipole surrounds in Black oak.Might be able to locate the LCR's.What finish would you prefer? Want new or used? Keith
LyleS
Hi, I have a full set of THX (KT-LCR, KT-DS, KT-SW) All I can say, is that they are definately a class act. They have provided many hours of movie enjoyment for the past two years in my HT. Good luck finding a set, as I haven't seen many on the NET forums who have them. So what is the asking price for these sets used if you do find them ? ------------------ Gear: Klipsch La Scala ;THX home cinema: KT-LCR, KT-SW15 Onkyo Integra DTR-7 THX Panasonic RP91 DVD NAD 7140 Stereo receiver powering LaScalas
soundog
I have the set and use it for Home Theater which it was designed for. It sounds great and I enjoy it a lot. I think it only failed because it was overpriced due to the THX designation and the THX requirement was that the center channel be vertical which was awkward (I use two KT-LCRs (total 4)on each side of my projection TV). The center works fine horizontally, however. I got mine cheaply when a local klipsch dealer went out of business and I ought a very beat-up (punched in and blown speakers and blown sub amp) demo set that Klipsch sent me replacement parts for under warranty, even paying shipping both ways! There is a set w/o sub for sale on ebay NOW. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1300727309 ------------------ Soundog's HT Systems This message has been edited by soundog on 11-23-2001 at 05:59 AM
