TheEAR Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 I use Y connectors on all my subs,yes you divide and "lose" the signal if you look at a "per" sub point of view.Each time you split you divide. Unless you have an armada of splitters and long cables you should not worry about signal loss. On one of my setups I have a Y going to two Y's and then again to Y's.Four subs connected to a single out.The loss in low level signal is more tahn compensated by the four subs.And you always have the subs's level to compensate,plus any receiver and pre/pro has its own subwoofer level.
