shimband
I'm looking for some advice for getting the most out of my sub. My room is 10X21...7' ceiling....right now I have my 50" tv next to the 2 klipsch tower type speakers and the sub is against the left main pointing straight out. There is about 3' between the sub and the wall. My couch is 10' back from the TV and speakers. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike
soundog
You will need to experiment with different placements. But to start: Place the sub where you sit and walk around the room to find out where the bass sounds best. Place the sub there. If you're experiencing standing waves you will have to use accoustical treatment such as bass traps. ------------------ Soundog's HT Systems
discusman
soundog's advice is the right way to do it. best place for my sub was right next to or right behind my couch ... sounds awesome there and i actually had to turn the sub down to 9 o'clock position.
