Hey Kain are you still awake ? Geeeeeeeeeeez.Ha Ha .

Just kidding , calm down. I'll tell you what I have and what I like.I have the RF-7,RC-7 and RS-7 set up like yours will be. Also I have the SVS-Ultras with the samson 1000.Same deal as you only I use an Onkyo TX-DS989.Anyway I'll give this DVD player thing a shot. You need to remember that I have Mitsubishi 55807 wide screen tv. The Toshiba SD-9200 is a great machine.I don't see a chroma bug problem with it but they say it is there but not as bad as most machines.I don't have the Toy Story disc everyone seems to be using to find "THE BUG" but the other disc many people like to use as a reference is The Fifth Element. There is a part in it that you are supposed to see red streaking around the kill button below the generals hand in the lab that puts LeeLoo together and blue streaking around the Zorg building sign .I've gone through this frame by frame with the superbit edition of this flick and I see only a crystal clear picture with the SD-9200.I've only played a couple of music discs but they sound great. Now to get more complicated I do not have a 9000ES. What I do have is a Sony NS-700P which is supposed to be similar if not better as far as Video is concerned compared to the 9000ES.They are using a new chip or something.IT also passes the Fifth element test as far as I can see.http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_8_2/dvd-benchmark-special-report-chroma-bug-4-2001.html.Maybe try this site.Anyway the Sony has a softer picture and both units Dolby and DTS sound great.I'd purchase another Toshiba SD-9200. I used to have a SD-3108.A good no problem player that I really liked .Who knows?

It's difficult for me to get my own system to where I want it let alone give advice. Good luck BBB

I have read that site quite a few times. It seems that they like the S9000ES more than the SD-9200.
