colterphoto1
I have a pair of CW grilles that Budman GAVE me (what a bro!). The Wendell fabric isn't a replication of the original cane (which I have in my 63's), but nonetheless, aside from a slight 'plastic' look when viewed up close, is a nice look overall. It does not have the octagonal weave of original seat-type cane material, but is more of a standard grille-cloth weave. But the look is soft and natural. colterphoto1
MD4134 looks like the fabric I have, it's listed under the Mellotone category, I think the first button 'natural look acoustic fabrics' Does that sound like what you used Budman? Budman
i'm guessing you are not looking for cane cloth but actually looking for someone to make you a complete set of grills with cane cloth. is that correct. Michael, i believe it is the MD 4134 from wendell

popbumper
Don't have grilles cut yet, have had a busy week. Also, don't have the cane material.....I may get to this, but time is limited. Michael, your "fitting" motorboard is on the way. Chris
colterphoto1
Thanks Chris I received the motorboard. It's beautiful. It's too tight on the two CW's I got from Jay at Klipsch, but might fit the single I got from Thumplestiltskin. I'll have to dig it out to see. Let me know what I owe you for this one and shipping. I can do paypal or check. Michael

jcmjrt
Has anyone tried using that chair seat cane to make grills? How close does that look compared to the original cane?
