Glenc1, welcome to the forum. I am not a tube owner (yet?) but there are a lot here who are and I am sure some of them will pipe up on this subject. I do know that 75 watts is more than enough to power most Klipsch, particularly the heritage models. What speakers are you using?

Being modified unless someone happens to have one with the same mods they would have no idea. I had a MV75A here for repair before the owner was selling it and I was very unimpressed with it before and after the repair work. Not that it was bad just simply nothing special.
