johng1013
I am considering purchasing some of the older McIntosh coponets such as the 7200 amp a good pre amp and 6700 tuner from Audio Associates. I have also looked at the B & k separates and am not sure which way to go. I know how good the Macs are , but then I think the B&K would be new. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. frankphess
I can't speak to the sound of Macintosh, however I recently began using two B&K 220M monblocks (purchased from Audiogon) with my RF-7's, and feel that the 7's sound the best they ever have. Although going from a stereo amplifier to monoblocks has a lot to do with it too. I'm sure you can't go wrong with either.
