swj2000
I have what I believe is an Aiwa 6 ohm subwoofer that I bought a few years ago for my mini-systemm. I recently purchased a Yamaha HTR 5450 receiver, panasonic dvd player, and floor standing Klipsch speakers. I was wondering if I could still use the 6 ohm Aiwa subwoofer with my new equipment. Not sure if the ohm difference is a big deal. Will it in any way harm my receiver or speakers if I do use the subwoofer. Please reply if you have any info on this topic. Thank you, Tim Vediz
