Considering a 13 inch JL Audio W7 has a Fs of 23.5Hz I think that 2 of these puppies in a decent box could shame a gotham in sub bass levels.... Looks almost too good to be true. DrWho Posted November 15, 2006 Share Posted November 15, 2006 I wouldn't use the Fs as the main point of comparison between subwoofer drivers...there's a reason for the huge slew of T/S parameters. I also believe the Alliance was designed for IB, whereas the W7 is made for a much smaller sealed enclosure. Run it through WinISD and apparently they will displace about the same amount of air...however, since the Alliance will be moving less it will have much much lower distortion. Combine that with higher sensitivity and less suspension noise it's going to be far superior. You're also talking a crap load difference in price...
