Gondor
I dont know if any of you are much of game players, but I am having a problem with WinXP and Star Trek Armada 2 crashing on my computer... It will function just fine, then it will just randomly crash, it varies from 2 seconds into the game to an hour into a game. I was hoping someone could give me some insight. Thanks. justin_tx_16
this might be a stupid question since i know your pretty computer literate and all but did you update all the drivers and check to see if there wree any patches for new/old drivers to work with XP? The video card and SoundBlaster could both need new drivers. Did you upgrade the comptuer to XP or did it come that way? Guessing you upgraded ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150
Gondor
Yep, everything is updated. No, I did not upgrade to WinXP from a previous version of windows. I formatted my hard drive and did a full install. I dont trust Windows Upgrading
justin_tx_16
well, i do not know what to say then. Weird that that would happen unless there is some driver problem or software incompatibility... but sounds like you did all the correct updating ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150
