Been a while since I last posted, but I figure this is as good a thread as any to post in
Glad you are all still around
mmm Duct Tape...
I remember the Overlocking the Promedias thread... that was great
I have a sony DVD player with 5.1 outputs on the back, those of you out there with this you can get 5.1 with your speakers. I use the TV speaker as the center and I got some RCA-to-mini plug adapters from radio shack to convert the front and rear so I can plug my v2-400s into them. What you do to still get the bass without plugging it into the speakers is go into the DVD player setup, disable the bass, so it outputs bass through the speaker outs.
I check in every now and then, but I couldnt help but post when I saw this thread again I'm with you Gxcad, I am still runnin v.2-400s with the high gain preamp as well
Yep, everything is updated. No, I did not upgrade to WinXP from a previous version of windows. I formatted my hard drive and did a full install. I dont trust Windows Upgrading
I dont know if any of you are much of game players, but I am having a problem with WinXP and Star Trek Armada 2 crashing on my computer... It will function just fine, then it will just randomly crash, it varies from 2 seconds into the game to an hour into a game. I was hoping someone could give me some insight. Thanks.

Justin... sorry if I seemed like an *** when I said that about props... I wasnt feeling well and I guess it came out in what I wrote. Thanks for the props though.
Alright, I found the V6s on another website, but i still dont have $80 to spend on them... I dont see why you all have a problem with the AIWAs, they have good bass response, clear highs, and enough power to make my head feel like a concert
If you guys are talking about the MDR-V600s, I dont have $129 to spend on headphones... And I am pretty happy with the AIWAs... I dont see anything on the Sony Website about MDR-V6s... plus I dont know if I could get back to Best Buy to return these in time, I live on a college campus and the trip to best buy was a favor for me by one of my friends
Anyone have $200 they can lend me so I can get these headphones I really want them
