Amps and Khorns

Recommended Posts

I am new to this forum. I have long been interested in the Klipsch speaker and have a question about amplification. I have a 100 watt/8ohms , 200watt/4ohms McCormick DNA 0.5 Deluxe that I have had since 1997. Will it be all right to drive these very efficient speakers or will it damage them. I will eventually go to a small tube amp but won't be able to afford both to start. Thanks in advance, Paul

You should be fine..

As long as the amp is clean... Paul used to say, "If you do not like what is going in, your not going to like what is coming out..." I think this could apply to your speakers as I get older with content, as well as your pre amp or amp to K horns. LOL

The important thing is what do YOU think?
