leerocker Posted November 26, 2006 Share Posted November 26, 2006 So I know this is not exactly a new topic, but i have been wondering what would make a better center, a KLF-10 or a C7. I've read on here about success stories of turing a klf10 into a center, but is that really better than a C7 and if so, why? are there better components inside a 10? is it the cabinet size? I currently have KLF10 - C7 - KLF10 up front and have been thinking about the benefits of switching out the C7. Plus, they are pretty well in demand currently and could almost get a pair of 10s for the price of 1 C7, resulting in (sort of), a free speaker to use as a rear center. wuzzzer Posted November 27, 2006 Share Posted November 27, 2006 For the most seamless blend of sound between the center channel and the front mains its always best to have speakers that are as closely matched as possible.
