Fish Posted December 9, 2006 Share Posted December 9, 2006 My experience has been most amps of a similar design and price sound very close,very hard to pick.Preamps of similar design and price can sound way different.I've never had a good amp I could not live with,I've had many pre's that were supposed to be good and I could not live with.
