Moderators dtel Posted December 18, 2006 Moderators Share Posted December 18, 2006 I did the same thing with Forte ll's, the center is sideways and to tell the truth I can't hear a difference. You will love a center that is an exact match to the mains, nothing like a perfect match. Add 2 or 3 for the rear and what more could you ask for ? I have the 3 rear Forte's also on there side hung from the back wall. The room is 18' deep and 24' wide, if it was in a much larger room it might make a difference with them sideways, but in this room I don't hear a problem with them sideways.
