Johncan
One of my audio buddies lent me a Sound Valves 101 preamp for about 6 months and I really enjoyed it. I just had to return it and am looking to buy something similar. Does anyone have an inexpensive tube preamp for sale. I am looking to spend $500 or less as this is for one of my secondary systems (MC2105 amp and Bozak B-300 speakers). Please note I am not a fan of the looks of the Dynaco tube preamps. I would also considering a SS McIntosh C26 or C28. Thanks! John
Mighty Favog
This is probably a long way off but in about a year to a year and a half I'll probably have a Mac C-33 for sale. It all depends on what Mac's new line up looks like and if I have enough money after some elective surgery.
HarryO
John, I've got a McAlister ML-33 with special phono amp and special headphone amp designed in. Top notch Preamp. If you could come up to say $600 I'd sell it. I've been asking $800. It was $1700 new. All tubes are fresh and barely broke in. Comes with boxes, tube layout, and tube boxes. If interested send me your email address and I'll send pics. HarryO hbailey1@earthlink.net
