irwin Posted January 17, 2007 Share Posted January 17, 2007 I have a strictly 2 channel stereo setup.I use a pair of RW-8 subs to fill in the missing low end on my RB-25's. I have the subs set up on the outside of each of the stands that hold the RB-25'S. Any opinions or potential problems with placing the bookshelves on short stands on top of the subs? wuzzzer Posted January 17, 2007 Share Posted January 17, 2007 You might scratch the top of the sub unless you put some felt or something in between the stands and the sub. Also you might get some vibration noise if the volume is turned up loud. Otherwise if doing that helps the bookshelves be at ear level while listening, go ahead!
