Thors1982
I currently have the whole Reference 7 line:2 x RF-7 FloorstandersRC-7 Center2 x RS-7 SurroundsRSW-15 Subwoofer Now I have a few problems:A. The reference 7 line is discontinued B. I don't know which speakers to pick up to turn my current set up into a 7.1. I also don't know if I can even use the RS-7's or if I should completely replace those. Any suggestions?
damonrpayne
I think most people would use 2 more RS-7s but you have many options, like RB-75s. Discontinued, yes, but eBay and audiogon are your friends.
IndyKlipschFan
By all means another RF-7 if your happy with the "surround feel" or what DP said, "RB75's" for the rears.. Just because it was discontinued, does not mean it is not good. That whole Ref- 7 line package set up in a good room was..and STILL is amazing! Ebay and audiogon.com Good luck! Thors1982
Trust me I LOVE my speakers :-) I was hoping I could get more Ref-7's and not have to go with the new ones. Also, will a 7.1 setup sound good with 2 RB-75's and 2 RS-7's? as surrounds? Or would it be better to replace them with 4x RB-75's? (I am not trying to spend money, lol i just want to make sure if i do 7.1 i do it right.) I definately don't have room for another RF-7, but I would like to upgrade my center channel.... somehow.... Thanks for the help guys :-)
