tgourlie
I saw a similar threat in "2-ch" but I figured I would post here as well. It is regarding bypassing the fuses on khorns. Has anyone done it? If so, did you hear an improvement? Thanks
PrestonTom
Mine did not come with fuses. However, I did install some but removed them later since I could not get a solid & stable contact (I used cheap in-line fuses on the speaker wire). There were no differences. Fuses are there for a reason. If you would like to improve the sound of your systems, there are countless other things I would try first. Good Luck, -Tom
D-MAN
I won't condone, accept, or otherwise excuse fuses in the signal path. DM
DrWho
I won't condone, accept, or otherwise excuse fuses in the signal path. That means you're not listening loud enough []
D-MAN
I know your kidding, Mike, but in reality, I have 300 watts per channel, and believe it or not, that actually gets used for HT. Not continuous, of course, but I actually have to turn it down so it doesn't peg the meters! But then again, I'm not running 35w tweeters, either. So keep that in mind - it has a bearing on my opinion! DM
