ajcllc
I recently came across a really nice tube preamp, an Audible Illusions Modulus 3 that has been totally upgraded and refurbished. I can possibly trade my Forte I's with Dean crossovers for it...even swap. Should I or shouldn't I? What would you do?
Guest " "
Trades are good if cash flow is an issue. Weight the value of both and ask for cash as well if the scale's are not balanced.
Speedball
If I had Forte I's (I don't) and wanted that Preamp (I do) I would in a second if I had them sitting somewhere not being used. All depends on what you need or desire.

ajcllc
The Forte I's are from my five channel set-up and are currently being run with a set of Forte 2's and an Academy. In order to get a better matching set to go with these, once the Forte I's are gone, I will be using a set of Quartet's instead...better match with the Forte 2's.
