MatrixDweller
I just purchased some RB81's and was sort of disappointed that the binding posts look like they are nickel plated. The straps also looked fairly cheap. I have a friend who has the RB75's which have gold plated posts and nice straps. I figured for nearly twice the price of the RB61's that the 81's would have better quality posts. I've already replaced the straps with short pieces of 14 gauge OFC. What are the binding posts made of anyway, nickel plated copper, brass, steel or something else?
Deang
If you change your avatar you'll feel better. Nickel plated, don't know what's underneath. They're fine actually. If you don't like them -- change them out.
MatrixDweller
I was hoping they were Rhodium flashed brass or copper. That would give them that metallic shine similar to nickel. I highly doubt it though.[]
