h2only
I have a new RSW-10d, it about 2 weeks old and today I noticed that there is a sound, the best way to describe it is a rattle. It happens at a strange frequency also, it doesnt happen during "low, low" sounds and not at the higher freq. also it doesnt happen when the driver is pushing very far as far as distance. Any ideas, should I be concerned, if I put my ear to the woofer it sounds very centralized to the speaker as opposed to a rattle from a loose screw or seal or something. kelA
Do you hear the rattle if you remove the grill?
h2only
yes with the grill off it still rattles, this is a rear firing sub with a front passive radiator also, the sound is coming from the rear woofer not the PR.
TheEAR
A: Wire in the sub touches the cone of the woofer. Can be fixed easy. B: Woofer has a problem,in this case they need to change the woofer.
