ClaudeJ1
I'm starting to be fascinated by the Unity horn concept which is Conical and covers from 300 Hz to 20 Khz. This is patent pending by Tom Danley. Any feedback?
michael hurd
The Unity was basically the beta units.... there is now a SH-100 ( 100 - 18 khz ) horn and a SH-50 ( 50 - 18 khz ) horn as well. http://www.danleysoundlabs.com/DANLEY_synergypagehome.htm Their tapped horn subwoofers appear to be killer as well. I think it is Chris Robinson ( don't quote me on that, going from memory here ) on the forum that has a DTS-20 subwoofer in his family room. freddyi
I breifly ran one Unity - beautiful & even sound & timbre within its pattern. Danley's bass tapped-horn graphs show low group-delay and can have small footprint (if enclosure tall) as mouth can be ~12".5 x 12.5" for 12" driver. William Cowan gave a go at making TH for Peerless http://diy.cowanaudio.com/
