getech Posted April 29, 2007 Share Posted April 29, 2007 Go for the RF-7's...spend a little more and have Dean's crossover upgrade (subtle improvement, very subtle)...these have a sweet resonance that you just don't find on the new 83's.... Upgrade your amp sometime as well, the Rf-7s need power to support headroom...you will need it for these power hungry speakers. Cheers! It'll be my 2nd pair if I decide to get them[]. $600 is just too good of a price for me to pass up, if they are in the condition that has been described by 2 different people.
