NastyHabits
Alas, this won't work in my town. (Manhattan) As an early adopter of HD-TV, I suffered. The cable company did not do HD when I bought my set. So, even though I knew there was not a prayer, I tried. Several attempts at over-the-air reception (both indoor and outdoor), met with total failure. Heck you can't even get regular TV reception here in the big apple. Too many big, tall steel-framed buildings. Everyone has to have cable or satellite. Now here's the weird part, I found out that there was an unpublished number you could call, and you could get an HD cable box! This phone number was not in the phone book, was not on the web-site, was not listed in the literature. The number was passed around buy word of mouth! I was ecstatic! T2K
And the picture quality with an antenna should be better than satellite or cable too. Keith
dachuckster
I have this antenna; http://www.pctinternational.com/channelmaster/0612/4221.html It is a Channel Master 4221, mounted in my garage attic, and I get crystal clear HD reception on all major OTA networks. I highly recommend this antenna!
