dougdrake2
Tom - You can imagine my relief that my Durango has Infinity speakers in it. The factory head unit has a little 3-band EQ in it, and I actually have to lower the bass setting because at neutral it is too strong. I don't know if I could have bought the Durango if it had the B speakers in it (just on principle), but I know sometimes we don't have a choice Doug ------------------ My System
bigdnfay
ha guys, First off let me say to Ray,I am sorry about your situation. I am self-employed and things for me have almost come to a dead stop. so i know how you feel. About this car stereo thing. My mom has a b**e set up in her car...not good.Got an old '82 pick-up with alpine, rockfords and powered sub. sounds OK. i don't play original cd's in that system.i only play burns. i use roxio 5.0 which allows you to equalize what you burn. after many...many tries i finally hit a curve that dosen't sound to bad. for me this is an alternative to using an EQ. tried listening to them on the horns..yyyuuuccckkk. but sound ok in the truck. this my help some of you who's auto stereos are.....lacking. For what it's worth. later This message has been edited by bigdnfay on 12-20-2001 at 10:43 PM
