SUB 10 vs RW-10d

I currently own a set of Quintet lll's and a Sub 10. Sub bought at Best Buy with 15 days to return and buy RW-10d. I have a 16x30 room(family room kitchen combo) with 10 to 12 foot traw ceiling. Love the quintets for their sound quality and unobtrusiveness. Should I return the Sub 10 and buy the RW-10d with potential upgrade to reference line in future? If set up properly is this too much sub for quintets?

well they can be but then again if you set them properly any subwoofer that is too much for the speakers can be calibrated for the speakers. Having overkill is the only way to match it, if you have too weak a subwoofer then that is of no use... BTW that is a very big room and may not be as pronounced.... Heck some 3000 dollar and above subwoofers might have trouble filling that huge space.
