willland Posted May 27, 2007 Share Posted May 27, 2007 I have an opportunity to purchase (3) RVX-42 for $199.00 ea at a local Comp USA here in Orlando. Will this work, eliminating the Q---center and moving Q---LR to rear surrounds? This will be a similar setup (but much better quality) to the "soon to be released" Quintet SL. Room is 16 X 30 with viewing area at 16 X 12 with 12ft tray ceiling. Returned the SUB 10 to BB Friday and brought home the RW-10d sub. Night and day difference. Will there be a noticeable tonal difference being that the surrounds will be mostly ambient sounds for HT. Most music will be played in 2.1 stereo and 3.1.
