Hi all,

At the moment i am having a difficult time finding out how to make a Low pass filter for my subwoofers. I know i have seem the equation in a book somewhere that tells you how much inductance you need, but I cant seem to find it. I was looking at a set 60hz pass to place in the signal stage, before the amplifier. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as my subs are arriving soon and if I dont have the Low pass ready, I will be stuck with a 150hz low pass!

I think Brenny was talking about building his own linelevel crossover to go before his amplifier. A very crude, but possible approach would be to use the amp's input impedance as the load for calculating the cap and inductor you'd need. But it's not exactly the best approach...
