STL Posted July 3, 2007 Share Posted July 3, 2007 Back in late 2004, I was going to upgrade the crossovers in my KG5.5s but never got around to actually ordering the parts. The idea is coming back to the surface again lately, so I checked Parts Express pricing on the parts list I made in 2004 (that also had the prices back then) and the prices on the Jatzen air core inductors has essentially doubled, while the prices on the caps (both Dayton and AudioCap Theta varities) has stayed relatively unchanged. I expected that pricing would have gone up some, but I found the doubling on the inductors really surprising. I also noticed the price of the CAIG detoxit cleaner has gone up 50% too.
