speedking22
I have some old car audio equipment and I want to try to take it and turn it into a nice home theater. it includes 3 subwoofers, 2 amplifiers, and a car cd player, and i have some old car speakers to, a few actually, various sizes. Is this possible? does anyone have a way of doing this, and willing to walk me through it? very much appreciated... thanks
masterxela
no way on the amps and cd player, as they need dc power, and a true sine wave converter to handle the wattage is hundreds. Matters on the subs, but they are surely "useable", probably won't sound good though. Most car audio subs are designed to make use of cabin gain, and are spl oriented. michael hurd
Ditto what was said, and depending on the parameters of the subwoofer driver. Some actually model quite well in larger vented enclosures.
