Is it possible to bi-amp La Scala?

Hey guys, just wondering if I can bi-amp my La Scala. Early 90's, AL-3 x-over networks. I really like the way my NAD amp handle the woofers but prefer the sound of the tweets and mids from my SET mono blocks. The NAD amp has both fixed and variable inputs, so matching the gain with a different amp shouldn't be a problem. If it's possible to bi-wire, what do I have to connect/disconect to get it to work?

Thanks

You can try a bi-amp set-up quite easily if you like.

Borrow an electronic crossover.

Set it to around 400hz.

Hook up your amps.

The best way to do bi-amping with an SET and Klipschorns is to get a nice 2µF cap and hook the K77 through it to the 16 ohm tap on the SET, then the K55 to the 8 ohm tap(also use the p-trap if you have the drivers that benefit from same).

This gives the correct level for the tweeter, and duplicates the tweeter crossover from a type A network. A steeper crossover for the mid to tweeter will probably sound better, but this is the quick and easy try it and see if you like it method.
