Beherit
Can the grilles off the in wall speakers be removed? If so, what do you suggest using to remove the grilles?
colterphoto1
An awl, small allen wrench, or unbent large paper clip should suffice. Insert into a hole near the edge of the grill and pull (don't pry) straight outward. You may have to grasp two-three holes down the side and keep pulling. It's only a friction fit, but a tight one- we don't want them falling out. Same procedure for ceiling speaker grilles and the outdoor series SA and AW. monte
I am looking for replacement grills. Does anyone know where they can be bought? Thanks.
mas
You might start with the manufacturer of the particular speakers you are using. They shouldbe able to tell you how they are distributed.

Man, I love it, There's no such thing as a Uni-tasker in Colter's world. Gotta love that "specialty tool" for removing speaker grills. " A large unbent paper clip". Just imagine how many uses Colter could come up with a Reddi Whip whipping cream maker. LOL

" If that includes the source of the nitrous oxide, I would be interested in that as well! ;-))
bhenry
The best thing I have found for this is a dental pick. The metal "hook" ones that the dentist uses. You can buy these little tools at CVS.
