zuzu
Does the center shaft on the terminals have a hole in it so you cann thread the speaker wire through it? If there is one I can't see it. My speaker cable is a stiff solid copper 14 AWG wire.
frankphess
There is a small removeable plastic plug in each terminal, best removed with an xacto type blade as it is very flush. When this is removed the terminals will accept banana plugs. I wouldn't thread bare wire, you won't have a solid connection. Either terminate the bare wire to spades or bananas or clamp the bare wire uner the screw terminals.
colterphoto1
yes there is a hole in the shaft- it should be oriented vertically.
zuzu
Yep they are there! Very hard too see because the shaft is real shiny. I'm removing my $12 furutech spades and going to try the bare wire. If it sounds better I'll have 12 large gold spades [biwire] to sell in mint condition. They have two set screws that clamp onto the wire. Thanks Colter.
