Moderators Amy Posted November 8, 2007 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2007 Check out more headphone information HERE! It must be noted that all "models" are Klipsch employees! []
scott0527
Nice. When will Custom 3 be available(or where). I take it these are the top of the line "sound-wise". I see the Image are more expensive however they seem to be geared a bit more for well... image, style and flair.
Moderators Amy Posted November 8, 2007 Author Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2007 Thanks! Custom-3 is delayed a month or two. They will be available on klipsch.com as soon as they are ready.
antonyfirst
Beautiful pages. I would just add one thing. People usually like to know the sensitivity of their headphones. In case of IEMs, a very high sensitivity (usually >112 dB/SPL) means the IEM will hiss with certain sources (like iPods), but that they will also sound louder when the player is set to low volume, thus saving battery juice.Shure E500, UE Triple Fi 10 Pro and Westone UM2. Very wow sensitivity IEMs (100dB/mW or less) won't have hiss problems with any sources, but some people will hook them to an amp to make them sound better. Etymotic ER4S is an example. Personally, I prefer when sensitivity is set in the middle, so that the IEM takes the best out of the two worlds.
Canadian_Dude
When can we search for headphones in the dealer locator page?
Fud
Amy, when the description of the custom 3s states that they provide "superior noise reduction", is that in reference to isolation, S/N noise, or something else? And here on the box art of the headphones, it looks like different equalizer settings for each separate headphone. That isn't an attempt at the depiction of the differences in frequency response, is it?http://www.klipsch.com/headphones/custom-3/
damonrpayne
I would think the noise reduction is not a S/N ratio, but that they block environmental noise from getting into your ears.
