aussiemark
Does anyone out there have any feedback on the CDT-5800's .I am considering them as my rears as I have limited options due to roomsize. Are they able to be pushed fairly hard as Iike to listen to DVD concerts at realistic spl's. Would they be a reasonable match for my RF7'S, Velodyne hgs18 or would they be overwhelmed. Also would it be a mistake to purchase a Rotel rb 1080 and put it through my Denon 4802 using the Denon for the centre and rears whilst powering the 7's with the Rotel? Could that work OK or not as I feel I'm not getting the best from the 7's with the Denon Reciever and Ive heard seperates are the way to go with Klipsch Reference series. Thanks in advance for any feedback. I really am uncertain about inceiling speakers but if it was to work it would have to Klipsch!!!
Brac
for surrounds they will do ok, also for back ground music, they do OK. If you want real punch you might consider using the 7800 thx in walls, as in ceilings. Really is a personal choice. There is price difference is there but they are fairly reasonable. look at the KS-7800-thx.
