tigerwoodKhorns
I have a Panasonic Sa XR55 receiver. When in standby mode, the power supply makes a buzzing sound. Is this normal? I also have an SA XR25 and I don't remember its power supply buzzing. The XR55 also gets a little warm while running it (just above the heat sink). I am driving a pair of 6 ohm speakers at moderat elevels. Any advice is apperciated.

tigerwoodKhorns
Thanks Bob. Does the top of the receiver on the left side of the vent get warm when it is in use? This is just above the heat sink that i sinside of the receiver.
BEC
I don't have it in use at the moment, but I don't remember any very noticeable warmth coming out of it. I am about to set it up again powering some Cornscalas. Bob
