Mr. RF62
I went and saw this movie last night and it was pretty funny. A good movie for those that grew up in that era, although I wish "dave" was a little more real when yelling "ALVIN". It had the kids in the theater laughing so that made the movie even funnier. theryugobuddy
My twin 2rd-graders loved it -- Me? I loved hearing the few old Chipmunks songs, but when they started singing present day R&B dreck without hooks it didn't satisfy-- Jason Lee is a star -- he's great in this--
colterphoto1
yeah, what's with the 'gansta' look on my beloved Simon, Theodore, and Alvin?
Moderators Amy Posted February 14, 2008 Moderators Share Posted February 14, 2008 This movie will go down in history as "Steven's First Movie Theater Experience." I actually really enjoyed it too, but more so to see his reaction. Now when he sees a chipmunk anywhere, his eyes light up and he looks at me and says "Just like at the thee-AY-ter!" Too cute. theryugobuddy
My nine- year olds first was Lilo and Stitch -- five years ago? I'll never forget as they walked into the theater and couldn't take their eyes off the big screen. I thought they were following me to our seats, but I had to go back to get them -- they had stopped dead in their tracks watching at the entry! and didn't move until I got them by the arms and almost had to drag them to a seat -- a wonderful memory.
