Synergy Sub 12 and Onkyo TX-SR805 - Blue Light; No Sound

I recently purchased an Onkyo TX-SR805 receiver and can not get any sound from my subwoofer. Tried Audessy auto speaker set up and sub was not detected. Tried all possible connections and sub does not deliver sound. Blue light is on however. Sub worked perfectly fine a few days ago with Pioneer receiver. Any suggestions on settings, work arounds, solution, etc?

Just for starters, did you try what the manual says on page 59, trying different gains on the subwoofer itself? Did you try to over-ride the Audyssey SW speaker setting by selecting yes? Not trying to be a smart***.

I know I'll get Chided for this, but Maybe talk to the Store where you got your Onkyo? They may know a solution to your Problem. Good Luck.

There are 2 sub hookups on the 805...the one I suspected to be the right one was wrong...

maybe you choose that one as well?

Thanks. Don't think you're being smart. I saw all of this in the manual, but haven't tried it yet. I was hoping that someone had already gone through the "trial and error" pain and could offer me the quick and easy solution. I'll try your recommendations. Thanks again.
