Dont know much about music and/or audio in general..

all i know is that i bought my first 5.1 system for PC... a Cambridge kit. Big mistake..

sound was ok, until i heard the 4.1 Klipsch system.. OH MY GOD! ...

Now.. Question is.. whats so special about the 4.2? especially since its the same price as the 4.1... two subwoofers. why? Whats different?

Thanks for any help!

Another victims of Cambridge I see.

So the most special about 4.2 system is off course its power. Ok..ok...I knew already that power is not everything. But surely much power will make some differences.

Second, you'll get much better sound positioning. Two subs (front and behind) is good for the sound positioning.

hmm what exactly does 'sound positioning'?

I mean.. i get different 'woofs' out of the woofers? ... ; P

Especially with games.. (since its a PC system)... will games and the like detect those 2 subs... or what? its just gonna vibrate more?

Ok, they put out the 4.2, just two 2.1's, because there was a 4.1 shortage.

A 4.2 has two subs so you can put on in front of you and one behind, double the explosion!

your computer will just need to be set to 4.1 output, it will not need to recognize your subs because the BASH amp takes care of that.

People that have had the 4.1 and the 4.2 say more often than not that they would never go back to a 4.1 Smile.gif

well the whole BB seemed to be buggy today. The whole bottom part, the last say inch or so, just was not there, including the last post so it was not just that. But it seems to have been fixed Smile.gif
