  1. For once in my life, I would like to be inside the golf ball! Awesome pic/view!!!! rock on ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  2. When the warranty period is up on my 4.1's, I'm gonna shitcan the minijacks completely. Not to say that the MonsterCable/Gold Minijack improvement isn't a good one, I just wonder if it might void my warranty??? Justin, the instructions on your website are well thought out, easy to follow....excellent... But (you knew it was coming), just in case I had a warranty issue, which I have not, I soldered the monster cable to the stock input wires for the sats about 6" under the sats. Yes! I made sure that the polarities were correct.. A definite MUST!!! And we all know (?) that a straight solder connection will always provide lower resistance than any "Gold Plug" ever manufactured. In about 8 months, I plan to open up the sats, cut the input wires just behind the minijack inputs, and solder that big, honkin' monster cable straight in. Yes, I plan to seal the void around the cable where it enters the sat with something.... Maybe C4. I can't seem to blow 'em up any other way. Rock On!!! ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  3. My 4.1s have been rocking on since I got them from Klipsch.com in early January. No crackling, no hot sub, nothing but jams... And curious neighbors....lmao No, they are not the perfect setup for the ultimate listening experience... George Lucas probably wouldn't use them as his primary home theater speakers, but if you want an awesome pc surround system, I would recommend them. I have not heard the z650's, just so you know. I can not comment on their performance. I do know that at 35 years old, and many thousands of dollars spent over the years on audio equipment, I am tickled with my PM 4.1's. I know that I have Klipsch KG5's and KG3's out in the "living room". My Promedias get many, many more hours of abuse than they do. They Rock. As do the KG's.... I am happy with mine. Just my .02 worth. Busa, have you gotten a second date yet? Happily Rockin' On.......... ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  4. so shoot me.... I just can't to seem to get the hang of attaching a pic in the body of the post... The 4.1's still rocking their @ss off... steve polychronopoulous. deal with it ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  5. Busa is my hero... lol Please note the "Mattell" stamp on his forehead. rock on.... ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  6. red, possibly ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  7. a big *ugly* one...... lol ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  8. Damn right I missed you... But I swear I'm gonna work on my aim.... http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?id=97836 lmao ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  9. BugBusa... did your mother have any children that survived the birthing process? Where is that "flame" gif? rock on ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  10. Do it yerself....cheeper. You need a solder gun, some Monstercable, and the appropriate ends for the cable. Ferget the banana plugs fer the back of the sub.... just tin the ends of the wire & cram 'em in there... I have the custom wire setup fer my 4.1's for about $20.00. You need to add your knowledge, time, and initiative to make it work. I tend to squeak when I walk... rock on... tim ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  11. I just multiplied 69 times 69.... result is 4761. my wife is still happy with my performance and that of the of the Promedia 4.1's. all the math in the world still indicates that the square root of sixty nine is "8 something" I own KG3 and KG5. both rocking for over 10 years.... I mean ROCKING!~ I think if I have a ***** with Klipsch, it would be that their speakers did not blow up soon enough so I could buy another set. La Scala's under construction....lol rock on.... timmy ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  12. mine are still rockin..... planet P.... why me $300 well spent, in my opinion. Wife and neighbors may or may not agree. And I homestead on a full acre. They still rock....my neighbors....lmao rock on ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  13. Somebody needs a girlfriend...or a self fufilling hobby. Justin, I appreciate your input, and I'm sure your girlfriend is wonderful....all I'm going to say on the subject.....ever... rock on ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  14. Cheaper than that...I used a drywall screw through the hole in the bottom of the supplied stand. Cost 2 cents ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
  15. aparrently, I have the proverbial "golden horseshoe" shoved somewhere.. I have bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of car, home, and computer audio equipment over the last 20 years, and have not been burned yet. I have returned equipment. Not to say that everything is perfect in the "upper middle class" of audio. Every manufacturer has a bad unit every now and then. Good retailers realize this. If you approach your retailer in a civil demeanor, with a reasonable explanation of your problem, they will make it right... 99% of the time. That 1% are the ones that give a bad name to all of them. 4.1's have been rockin' round the clock fer the last 2 and a half weeks. KG3 and KG5's have been rockin fer a decade. Hope the klipsch quality continues to come through. I will buy klipsch again... rock on ------------------ I like them french fried potaters....mmmmhhhhmmmm
