myram
I am looking for information of going with all Klipsch speakers for my home theater setup. I will be using Quartet for the main speakers, and a Denon AVR-1601 for my receiver. My big questions are for the center channel, and then the surrounds. Here is my list of center channels that I am considering - Academy, KLF-C7, KV-4, KV-3, RC-3 And for surrounds I am thinking of using in-wall speakers (keeps the wife happy) so I am looking at the following for that - RCW-5, SCW-3 I would appreciate any and all info and opinions on these speakers and how they would work with the Quartets and 1601. Thanks. ------------------ Klipsch Quartets Adcom GFA-555 Musical Concepts Modified NAD 1600 Pre/Tuner Sony C-67ES CD Player
myram
I've found a deal on a KV-3 center channel so I need to know if that will work with the Quartets. If anyone has some ideas please let me know soon. Thanks.
erdric
I am unfamiliar with the speakers that you are looking at so I can't help you out, sorry. Did you know that the academy is not made anymore? Did you find one for sale used and that is why it is on your list?
HT_Andy
The speaker matching chart recommends the KLF-C7. I'm using the KLF-C7 with Heritage speakers & am very happy with how they sound & fit with the others.
myram
Well the KV-3 is on it's way, so now all that is left is the rear surround speakers. The search never ends for a "wife friendly" home theater system.
