Halder35
I am replacing the mid driver diaphram on my KLF-30 and was considering replacing both in order to keep the drivers matched. My question is should I replace both or just the one I am haveing problems with. The $30 for another diaphram is no big deal, I just have been a believer that if something isn't broke, don't fix it. Guest BobG
No need unless you did something to damage the one and might have done the same to both. Otherwise, just send the $30 to my retirement fund. I promise to think nice thoughts about you as I spend it. ;-)
boa12
i was doin a search & found this one. what's a damaged diaphram usually sound like? i think I may have it w/ one of my klf-30 tweeter horns. just on certain sounds at certain times i get kinda that vibration distortion, like w/ a piano or horn blast. real hesitant to take it out now w/ a buck magnet on it. had to file the cabinet hole to get it back in & even then it was real tough. maybe that's what damaged the diaphram or something else. ------------------ My Home Systems Page
