Recommended Posts

I have one iFi working 6 days a week.. 6 hrs a day... Works fine..

Sorry yours did not do the same..

VERY happy with mine.

I doubt Klipsch has a bad BBB rating... U have proof? Compared to what?

Sorry, this is your 1st post, and it just seems like it is a plant or spam to me. Read the other posts, and maybe Andy W from Klipsch can help you too on here..

OK, so in three years....

http://arkansas.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=59&bbb=0935&firm=4000142 < your link...

It said... From the site..

Customer Experience

"Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record

BBB Definition:

unsatisfactory record - A

When considering complaint information, please take into account the
company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the
nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more
important than the number of complaints.

The BBB processed a
total of 5 complaints about this company in the last 36 months
, our
standard reporting period.Of the total of 5 complaints closed in 36
months, 0 were closed in the last year."

(BTW, from this report Klipsch is NOT a member of the BBB.) "BBB Accreditation:
This organization is not a BBB Accredited business."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So how many thousands of units did they have sold...and "5" (shakes head five) were bad, and complained about... second...If it was resolved.. How would Klipsch respond to the BBB a organization they are not a part of?

I am sorry for your situation, Andy W from Klipsch might try and help you, and you can read about trouble shooting and or fixes in other threads too.

FYI, I do not work for Klipsch, I have this same unit, and so far, again.... 6 days a week..... 8 hours a day.. it works fine for me!

I wonder how many thousands of us there are out there that are happy customers?

Maybe others with your problem..turned it up too loud for too long...or had lighting problems or something else... That contributed to a bad unit. I know a hand full of people that blew their desktop computer speakers, cranking them up too loud on several occasions then called what they had cheap, defective, tried to blame someone else...

I am not saying yours did not just up and quit...mechanical things sometimes do weird stuff. But really, 5 complaints again out of how many thousands sold.. is not many at all. Klipsch usually will work with anyone to resolve the issues too. If this was a "as is" unit.. you already know it might have been refurbished as well.

Cut em (Klipsch) some slack... I am sorry yours failed.. Try and see if you can get some help...

PS, Nice Bike!

I agree with your position, but it seemed from the email correspondence I had, they were'nt willing to help. They also had my first unit for 8 months before they issued a replacement, then I had it boxed up in my spare bedroom for 3 months. I take it out, it works fine for 2 months, then does the same thing the first one did. I relayed this a Klipsch rep, and she told me in none so many words to "pound sand." This isn't an isolated incident, it's a defect, probably on a whole production run on their product, and they're not owning up to it---and that's upsetting.

U might try this..

I'm sorry about your experience, but I must point out that there is
far from a "known issue" with the iFi. Can you please email me your
situation, along with the people you have spoken to thus far at
Klipsch? Did you purchase the speaker directly from us?

Please let me know if I can help.

Thank you!
Amy
