Convert speaker wire to RCA?

Thanks Mark. I have part of a leftover spool of some 10 base 2 (802.3) cable, pretty much equiv. to Belden's 9907, which is rated at 25.4 pF/Ft. A little higher than what you are saying, but it is great to work with and I have quite a bit of it. I just didn't want to go to the trouble of terminating it if it will be too high. Since we haven't run coax for any network stuff for over ten years, I figured I might be able to put it to good use.

Any standard RCA connector would be fine. To make your life easier, only use a few strands for the actual connection. .

What you didn't mention, Who ..

is terminate the cable in a manner appropriate for the AWG of the Conductor, then use Adaptors to go from one to the other

Why?
