Porsche
Hey fellow Klipschians. Please let me know if the following digital coaxial connector I have is of good enough calibre to run on my system: It's an Acoustic Research Pro Series 6' Digital Coaxial cable (HT171). http://www.araccessories.com/pro/subcategory.asp?category=4⊂=9∏=27 Now, this is what I bought when I first got my Onkyo receiver and Klipsch system. Should I go with something from Monster Cable? Thanks in advance, Matt! ------------------ Onkyo TX-DS575X( Receiver Sony DVPS 560D DVD Player Klipsch RF-3 Klipsch RS-3 Klipsch RC-3 Klipsch KSW-12 Subwoofer Sony 32" WEGA TV
Porsche
Another question - COMPONENT VIDEO connector! I am going to go with a Monster Cable Component video cable - I have either the Monster Standard, Monster Video 2 or Monster Video 3 to choose from. My TV is a Sony 32" WEGA (KV32FS13). Suggestions? Do I really need to get anything more than the Monster Standard, considering my TV is not an HDTV? Thanks! ------------------ Onkyo TX-DS575X( Receiver Sony DVPS 560D DVD Player Klipsch RF-3 Klipsch RS-3 Klipsch RC-3 Klipsch KSW-12 Subwoofer Sony 32" WEGA TV
Porsche
Yet another question... The cable going from my receiver to my KSW-12 is also an Acoustic Research cable (probably their Subwoofer 12' cable) - it's fairly high-grade for a home theatre user, but is it good enough? ------------------ Onkyo TX-DS575X( Receiver Sony DVPS 560D DVD Player Klipsch RF-3 Klipsch RS-3 Klipsch RC-3 Klipsch KSW-12 Subwoofer Sony 32" WEGA TV
dougdrake2
Porsche - I'm with STL in another post on this topic. If I were you, buy some Monster locally so you can test/return it easily, and also go to Radio Shack and buy their a/v dubbing cable (it's 3 coax cables together, just like a component video cable) and compare them. If you can't tell a difference, let your wallet be your guide! Also, I'm sure your AR coax cable will be fine. Again, though, if you really want to check get a Monster version (with return privileges) and a/b compare them. T2K
Buy the AR.Good quality for the price. When you get ready for something better, buy something better than Monster products. The AR would be as good as any,IMO. www.accessories4less.com www.partsexpress.com Keith
